Seed Talks Review

Hi all,

This week I'm going to talk about Seed Talks, who currently hold multiple talks every month with different themes and topics.

My husband and I have attended one in person but most of them we attend via live stream.

I find the talks so fascinating, especially the ones centred on folklore and mythology. I love learning new things about topics that I thought I knew everything about.

So far I've learned about possession, British folklore and fairy tales. The next one that we're attending online will be about Korean mythology, which I don't know much about so I'm excited to learn.

I enjoy attending live streams and the one I went to in person was really good as well. The staff are friendly and all the talks I've attended so far have had interesting people conducting them.

Every person who leads a talk is qualified in their area and some even talk about how much they've grown over the years because of it. There hasn't been a talk I haven't enjoyed so far and I'm hoping to attend more in the future.

If you can't attend live, they have some recordings on their website so you can watch the talks back. The only downside is that you miss out on attending the Q&A at the end, which are also extremely interesting.

If you're interested in learning about mythology or folklore then I'd highly recommend attending a talk or two. They've been so valuable to my research and I feel like they're going to make my writing better.

That's it for this week, hope you check out Seed Talks! See you next week.
