 Sixteen year-old Reema has been chosen to fight for her god, Aerus. Only one faction can survive and she has no idea what to do. With her soul, a cat called Smokey, she has to live on an alien planet until one faction wins the game. The only way to get home? Kill everyone else. Win for Aerus and make history.

Born into the faction of Aerus, Reema has been chosen to compete in a game to entertain the gods. A game where the odds of survival are slim for most, and she’s the only one who doesn’t know the rules.

Dropped onto an alien planet with her soul severed from her body, she has no choice but to stick with other members of her faction. Each day brings magical gifts to gain a deadly advantage, while the gods wait for the next one to die.

Winning the game is the only chance she has to save herself, which means wiping out an entire faction. Unlike the others, she’s not sure if she can bring herself to kill.
