Hi all,
I recently attended the Plymouth Literary Festival with my writer's group. It was an amazing event that let us do two readings and we ran a booth for both days!
I managed to sell two of my books (yay!) and gave out several bookmarks and business cards. I also read my short story, Run-Along, during the Sunday reading.
I haven't done many in person events so I was looking forward to it. I went into it not sure if I should bring some books for the booth, but I'm glad I did in the end. I signed both books that readers bought and I hope that they enjoy reading them!
I would like to do more in person events but Plymouth doesn't offer too many. So when this came up, I jumped at the chance. Hopefully this becomes a yearly event so I can attend again next year.
